DNB (Hospital Administration) @ Dr. RML Hospital

A career as a Hospital Administrator is exciting, fulfilling and demanding. Many young and energetic doctors and nurses are joining various courses relating to hospital and health administration, like PGDHHM, DNB (Hospital Administration), MBA. CHA and MHA to join the stream of trained hospital administrators.

I have been busy taking classes (Diplomate of the National Board of Medical Examiners-Hospital Administration) this week at Dr. RML Hospital.

  1. It feels good..that administrative courses will bring structure to hospital facilities thereby increasing the efficiency..but a question arises in this context that it may lead to dilution of this great masters field..checking for courses in other countries similar programs are offered only in executive or residential formats..keeping the immense responsibility associated with the profession intact in rightful hands..just a thought in this direction, your views are welcome sir

  2. for last two years RML Hospital is getting gold medal in a row , a proof in itself the quality and way of teaching !
Dedicated and highly learned faculty leaves no stone unturned to provide concrete knowledge to their students .

  3. Thanks DR. Sanjeeb,
I agree. DNB is a internationally recognised course and equivalent to MD in India.
In corespondence courses you do not get a full exposure to hospital environment.
A professional can better understand the issues and constraints of a hospital situation and can be a better decision maker.

  4. Thanks Dr. Rekha for your appretiation of the teaching standard in Dr. RML HOSPITAL
